Pfefferbett Hostel - Berlin

As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe and comfortable in the clean and modern 4-bed dormitory. the hostel's location in a closed-off neighborhood added to the pleasant atmosphere. the beds were comfortable with soft linen, and the bathroom was clean with provided shampoo and body gel. the breakfast spread offered a good range of options, making it convenient for guests. the hostel staff was friendly and helpful, providing great tips on local places to explore.

Very good location, just between Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg and very close to subway station.

The room wasn't really cleaned when we arrived, there were dust on the floor and on furniture.The shower (en suite) only had a wall-mounted shower head, which is a bit inconvienient.

The personnel were incredibly kind and helpful, assisting me in storing my excessive luggage and even carrying it for me. the room was super clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful night's sleep. the breakfast had a fantastic variety of fruits, salads, cheese, and bread, exceeding my expectations.

I really liked that the internet is free and that you can order scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast for 2,50 €. There are also nice washing machines. It's very clean, but not very homey.

There's no communal kitchen and no food is allowed in the rooms, so there's no way to not eat out all the time, which can be frustrating.

The double room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. I loved the convenient location right in the middle of Prenzlauer Berg, with easy access to the metro and tram stops. There were plenty of bars, coffeehouses, and a supermarket nearby. The front desk staff were super cool and helpful. The hostel had such a great vibe and the bathrooms were clean. I highly recommend staying here!

I very much liked the friendly staff, the style, look and atmosphere of the place and the cleanliness of the room.

I didn't like the fact that WIFI could only be accessed from the communal lounge and not the rooms.

I shared a room for 6 which was comfortable and clean, in general the facilities were excellent.

I stayed 4 nights and in one occasion there was a party next room until very late about 2 pm, extreme noise that could be heard all around the building so I did not sleep until the party was over. I thought that at some point staff members would go and stop the noisy music but that never happened. In my opinion that was unacceptable. internet signal is very poor from the rooms. thanks

Convenient location near public transportation. Helpful staff and daily cleaning services. Close to grocery stores and affordable restaurants. Socializing opportunities available for solo travelers. Comfortable beds and friendly atmosphere.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Clean rooms and hostel. Good lounge area. Great trendy neighborhood in Berlin.

The place felt really secure with their method of keys to enter the door into the dorms. It was a really clean place with a pretty cool common area.

It was a bit of a pity that the wifi didn't work in our room, and some of the staff had pretty lame attitudes.

Had a great few days at this hostel! The common area was enjoyable, and the shared rooms were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic, in one of Berlin's coolest areas with easy access to the metro, supermarkets, and great dining options.

The staff at Pfefferbett Hostel were very friendly. Their service was impeccable and they thought about everything that you would need as a traveller on budget. Ie. Borrow adapter, hairdryer for a small deposit. The location is great too. I would highly recommend it!

Pfefferbett is a standout hostel with fantastic modern facilities in a beautiful area. I really enjoyed staying here for the cleanliness of the rooms and the comfort of the beds. They also provide a great breakfast spread. Highly recommend it for staying in Berlin.
